Kerr Cellars wins Benny Award for Design

Professional golf pro Cristie Kerr’s wine label, Kerr Cellars, has just been awarded with the highest honor in the Premier Print Award Competition, a Printing Industries of America organization that recognizes the highest quality printed pieces from around the world. The competition’s highest honor is the Benny, and the Benny Statue award has become a universally recognized symbol for excellence.

MCC Printing submitted the Kerr Cellars label due to its unique utilization of special printing treatments which maximized MCC’s press capabilities. Created by Madeleine Corson Design (San Fransisco, CA), the elegant design and chic textured finishes expressing the KERR brand was achieved through the use of heavy paper stock, the winery’s customized background texture, pewter and copper foils, sculpted emboss of the crest, and raised round emboss of the KERR name to help accentuate the uniqueness of the design and branding image.
